INFODESA.ID-JAMBI, Kab.Tanjung Jabung Barat, Sebelum menjadi Desa Definitif, Desa Dataran Kempas bernama Dusun Mekar Arum yang bagian dari Desa Purwodadi sejak tahun 1985 hingga pada tahun 2012 terjadi pemekaran Desa menjadi 3 Desa. Berdasarkan Keputusan Bupati Tanjung Jabung Barat Dusun Mekar Arum berdiri sendiri menjadi Desa dan diberi nama Desa Dataran Kempas, dan Pejabat Sementara Desa adalah tokoh masyarakat bernama M. Hatta Nasir menjabat dari 28 Maret 2012 hingga September 2015. <\/p>\n

Seiring habisnya masa jabatan Bapak M.Hatta Nasir sebagai Pjs Dataran Kempas pada September 2015. Maka, Bupati Tanjung Jabung Barat yang saat itu

Kepala DESA DATARAN KEMPAS
Bpk.Asbar Nofendra<\/figcaption><\/figure> dijabat oleh Bapak Usman Ermulan mengangkat Bapak Sudirman,SE sebagai Pjs Desa Dataran Kempas dan sekaligus menjabat sebagai Sekretaris Camat Tebing Tinggi.
\n\tPada tanggal 19 Mei 2016 diadakan Acara Pemilihan Kepala Desa Definitif untuk pertamakalinya dan dari tiga Kandidat yang mencalonkan diri sebagai Kepala Desa yang terpilih menjadi Kepala Desa Tahun periode 2016 s\/d 2021 adalah Bapak Asbar Nofendra yang pada masa itu ia menjabat sebagai Kaur Umum di Desa Dataran Kempas dan Mencalonkan diri sebagai Kepala Desa.<\/p>\n

MISI :
\nMewujudkan masyarakat yang rukun, damai, dan harmonis.
\nMewujudkan pemerintah desa yang tertib, bersih, dan mampu manjadi pelayan masyarakat.
\nMeningkatkan Kesejahteraan masyarakat yang bersumber pada potensi dan sumber daya yang dimiliki desa.
\nMeningkatkan kualitas dan kuantitas infrastruktur dan sarana prasarana umum.
\nMeningkatkan pola tanah dan hasil produksi pertanian.
\nMeningkatkan pelayanan kesehatan dan lingkungan
\nMeningkatkan mutu pendidikan
\nMeningkatkan kegiatan sosial budaya masyarakat yang serasi dan seimbang.
\nMeningkatkan pelayanan masyarakat di bidang pemerintahan

PEMERINTAHAN
\n:
\nPusat pemerintahan Desa Dataran Kempas Kecamatan Tebing Tinggi terletak di Dusun Mekar Arum. Jarak Pusat pemerintahan Desa Dengan Kecamatan Tebing Tinggi \u00b1 20 Km dengan Ibukota Kabupaten Tanjung Jabung Barat (Kuala Tungkal) \u00b1 130 Km (jalan darat) dengan provinsi Jambi \u00b1 140 Km .
\nSecara umum Desa Dataran Kempas Kecamatan Tebing Tinggi terdiri dari 3 (tiga) Dusun dan 13 Rukun Tetangga.
